MBST THERAPY FOR OSTEOPOROSIS2018-07-09T09:52:11+00:00

Project Description

The metabolism is the basis for all vital processes in the body and requires a lot of energy. This energy is also needed in the bone to form, preserve and repair the tissue. If the bone cells lack energy, endogenous repair mechanisms can no longer be performed and this leads to bone loss.

How does bone loss occur?
The bone undergoes a continuous transformation to maintain its structure and function (bone remodelling). To keep the bone mass constant, osteoclasts resorb bone tissue and osteoblasts rebuild it. If this is not regulated properly, increased bone degeneration (high turnover) or decreased bone metabolism (low turnover) can result in a loss of bone matter.

The active principle of MBST.
MBST therapy is based on the physical principle of magnetic resonance, in which hydrogen nuclei take up energy and then release it again partly to the surrounding tissue. Scientific data suggests that in this way MBST magnetic resonance technology stimulates various biophysical processes and triggers anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects (Steinecker-Frohnwieser et al. 2014). Other studies confirm a distinct activation of metabolic processes and an increase of bone density and the bone formation parameter osteocalcin (Handschuh/Melzer 2008; Kullich et al. 2016; Overbeck et al. 2002). In-vitro studies prove an increase of osteoblasts of 290% (Temiz-Artmann et al. 2005).

MBST Magnetic Resonance Therapy is only applicated by certified doctors and medical personal after a medicinal diagnosis!
A MBST treatment series for osteoporosis and other diseases of the osseous structures consists of 10 treatment units. The treatment of single body parts for locally present osteoporosis is possible on every MBST therapy device. The OSTEO·SYSTEM allows whole-body treatment. MBST Magnetic Resonance Therapy has shown good to very good results in the treatment of osteoporosis as well as disorders of bone metabolism, other diseases and injuries of the bone system. If MBST is an option in the treatment of your osteoarthritis has to be determined by a doctor according to a correct diagnosis and after a strict risk-benefit assessment. He will also decide whether or not the combination with other therapy approaches is necessary or useful in your case.
